…and I am in denial.
The whole thing has been so overwhelming for me, I don’t know how to react. Heck, it doesn’t even feel like MJ’s really gone.
I think I share the same sentiments with Kris Allen in his latest tweet:

Indeed. MJ, you will be missed ![]()

Real life got busy–the timing was just horrible. Will update this post soon, so stay tuned.

This is just horrible… I can’t get the idea to sink in… I GREW UP LISTENING TO HIM!! This is not right! He’s a GREAT! Darn man… :(
Evidently, he went into cardiac arrest immediately after being injected with Demerol, a very potent narcotic pain reliever. (Don sits back and waits for the theories of foul play and conspiracy to start.)
IKR?! He was like our generation’s Elvis. I think I’m still in shock with his demise :|
So, how has your “sitting back and waiting for theories to start” been? :P
It is such a great loss that a man with great talent like Michael Jackson dies. RIP King of POP
Well, as you’ve no doubt heard, I didn’t have to wait very long! Shortly after I posted here, they announced that the doctor’s car had been towed away to search it for drugs. Then, people who were close to him started talking about his drug addictions. This is going to drag on for months (maybe years), and we may never know the whole story. CNN said he was 500 million dollars in debt! Yikes!
Is it hard for the media to just let him rest in peace? XD
I think not.
Michael Jackson is my favorite pop artist ever since i was a child. He is truly the King of Pop and i am saddened by this news.
there would be no other King of Pop like Michael Jackson. he would always be the King.
Since the beginnings of pop music, there have always been “kings” and “queens” of pop. Before MJ, there was Elvis. Before Elvis, there was Frank Sinatra. Before Sinatra, there was (probably) Bing Crosby, and before him, there was Al Jolson. By the time your children or grandchildren are teenagers, they’ll have their own king of pop, and MJ will just be “that old guy our parents listened to” just like Elvis was that old guy my parents listened to.
Michael Jackson would still be remembered as the only King of Pop. We would surely miss him.
