I think I may have *won* something from Fan2Band. I don’t know what it is, but looking at the tweet below and the e-mail I received from them are enough grounds to make me believe that, yes, I may have won something. Cool. I’ve never really won anything from an online contest before (okay, my losercase is showing LOL).
I’m a bit curious to see what I won from this random contest. I’ll let you guys and gals know once I receive a response from the folks at F2B.

Yes, you’ve got that right–a spankin’ brand-new Kris Allen CD. I haven’t bought an original CD in 8(?) years, so this must mean something. I’m the type of person who’s stingy enough not to care about patronizing original music and rips stuff off the internet, but damn, Kris Allen does stuff to you. He made me buy this album; thus, breaking the spell of me not buying original music. Yes, the album is good. No, I don’t care if you think Adam Lambert should’ve won American Idol. Nuff said.
Do grab a copy of Kris Allen’s CD here at iTunes or at your local music store. Want to enjoy the Kris Allen experience even more? Try listening to his album with headphones instead of speakers–it’ll do wonders.
Is this a reputable organization? I’ve never heard of them before. Just don’t let yourself get suckered into something shady. I always “win” things that have stipulations such as: “You win 10 free song downloads a month if you subscribe to our service for a year.” Then, you end up paying $15.00 a month for $10.00 worth of music. Some prize!
Fan2Band is an organization that closely works with record companies and “virtual street teams” (most of which are college kids or online bloggers) to help promote artists in the non-convential way. They don’t ask for money–just aid in promoting artists from record labels that they work closely with.

DonMI – I work for Fan2Band (and have been in touch with Aeyelle about her prize prior to stumbling across this post). We are totally a reputable organization and NEVER would trick the fans. We do not require any purchase in order to win a prize, and sign up for our website is FREE. All we ask fans to do is spread the word about their favorite things (in this case, an artist– Kris Allen) and then we reward the fans based on their efforts and sometimes we even give out random prizes to fans that we see are helping out a lot but aren’t winning any contests.
